Margaret La Farge grew up in a home full of art and
        began drawing at an early age.  She attended two years at
        Skidmore College before transferring to the Rhode Island
        School of Design where she graduated in 1974 with a BFA
        degree in sculpture.  In 1994 she received a Masters in
        Education from the University of Maine.
            She has exhibited in galleries throughout New England,
        and while raising a family she began a career in freelance
        illustrating and teaching.
